Dublin Swing Weekend 10 – 11 March

A weekend of swing and blues dance workshops with Bill Borigda (USA) and Lotte Geldof (HOL) including a special Vertical Rhythm Club. Full details will be on available soon.

Bill Borgida

Highly regarded for his teaching skills, Bill's emphasis on connection and technique has had a profound influence on the Lindy Hop scene in the U.S. and internationally for the past 11 years. What makes Bill stand out among the many teachers around is his ability to explain the details of technique to dancers and his ability to help people rethink their own dancing, no matter how long they've been dancing. Bill's influence is felt as far away as Sweden, Spain, Singapore, Japan, France, Finland, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Holland, England, Scotland Australia & New Zealand.

Lotte Geldof

started dancing at the age of 8, and has since studied many different styles including jazz, contemporary, acrobatic rock 'n roll, contact improvisation, yoga and African dancing. She started swing dance in 2001 in Melbourne Australia and helped form the swing dance performance group Crazy Rhythm Revue. She taught swing dance in Melbourne before moving to Cambridge, UK, in January 2006. She assisted Bill Borgida at the Herrang Dance Camp in 2004 and recently taught workshops with him in Hamburg. Lotte is a qualified Physiotherapist and a professional dance/drama teacher for secondary schools. These studies combined with her personal experiences with movement developed her deep understanding of the body and the skill to communicate her knowledge clearly.
